BREAKING THE CHAIN: Part 3 – Thwarted
An exclusive look at some of the attacks that have been prevented by investigators, including some of my own personal scalps, written about for the first time.
On October 11th, police in Tecumseh, Oklahoma arrested a teen who made a credible threat to commit a school shooting at his local high school. The student had taken a picture in the school bathroom with what would turn out to be a BB gun, a likely homage to Samantha Rupnow and Solomon Henderson, and posted it to social media. During a police interview, the teen admitted he planned to shoot up the school. But the drama didn’t stop there. In the days that followed the arrest announcement, investigators uncovered even more posts made by unidentified threat actors towards the high school, followed by a wave of hoax threats intended to extend the wave of tension. In response, Tecumseh Public Schools canceled all classes for a week.
