BREAKING THE CHAIN: Part 2 - A Chain of Killers
Modern mass shooters are forming a chain of copycat killings across the US and signaling them online. Quickly finding the next planned attack is critical to preventing tragedy.
Nino Luciano, aka Tobbz, was only 17 years old when he committed a brutal murder on a live stream from Romania. Luciano was originally from Germany but was sent to Romania under a foster care program for youth with behavioral problems. On the night of April 12, 2021, Luciano walked down a residential street until he saw an old woman coming out of her house to take out the garbage. In the recorded video of the live stream, Luciano first hit the woman and then stabbed her multiple times prior to slitting her throat. In the background of the video was a man’s voice, apparently belonging to a live online viewer, urging the teen to kill the woman and shouting “Show me!”
Luciano went home that night as if nothing had happened. In a Telegram group, he posted the video and said, “I feel like God. I can decide who lives and who dies.” After he was arrested he told police that the murder was part of an initiation process for a neo-Nazi extremist group. Police found tattoos on his body connecting him to 764, and his online footprint connected him to the satanic accelerationist groups O9A and MKY.
