All Roads Lead to Roblox – The 764 Spawnism Cult

A few months ago I received a message from a YouTuber named Schlep. Schlep’s area of expertise – Roblox safety – intersected with my work on the 764 network. The 764 network is a decentralized, international group of online extremists and pedophiles who specialize in child exploitation, sextortion, and coercion into self-harm or even suicide. The group is built around Satanic and nihilistic ideologies that revel in societal destruction, often pushing kids to commit acts of violence, terrorism, and their specialty, mass shootings.

The DOJ has labeled the 764 network a Tier 1 terror threat (in direct contradiction to the false statements made by Kyle Seraphin in his baseless smear campaign against me), and the FBI has announced over 250 active investigations as of mid-2025. The network operates almost completely over the internet, with members lurking in the shadows of Discord, Telegram, and most alarmingly, on child-centric platforms like Roblox. Schlep reached out to me after discovering the activities of 764 within Roblox communities. A collaboration with Roblox creators who were similarly dedicated to protecting children from online dangers made a lot of sense. They could help me to better understand Roblox, and I could help them to better understand the 764 network.

My team and I had always been aware of the Roblox problem. Back in 2022, when we first began investigating mass shootings, we noticed Roblox popping up everywhere. On YouTube, we found that by watching a simple Mr. Beast video and following the recommended videos that the algorithm dished up for us, we would end up at adult-themed Roblox videos within just a few minutes. There was neo-Nazi Roblox, Radical Jihad Roblox, Furry Roblox, and so on.

It seemed obvious to us what was going on. Extremists and other subversive groups had hijacked YouTube’s algorithm for their target audience – teenage boys. This is when we first coined the catchphrase, “All Roads Lead to Roblox”. But it didn’t end there. Our research into the 764 network revealed that Roblox was their platform of choice for finding vulnerable kids and luring them off-platform to subject them to abuse and extortion.

After just a few weeks of collaborating with Schlep and immersing myself deeper into the Roblox landscape, we discovered the Spawnists. “Spawnism” was a fabricated cult created on Roblox by 764 members as a front for child exploitation. As I traced the footprint – usernames, Discord servers, victim testimonies – it became clear that Roblox, with its 70 million daily users (many under 13), had become a hunting ground for some particularly notorious members of 764. The Spawnism saga and the ensuing Roblox PR catastrophe is a damning indictment of how gaming platforms enable such horrors through inadequate moderation, and how that failure invites government overreach that threatens everyone's privacy.
